Types of Emergencies That We Treat
Tooth pain can come on suddenly and often inexplicably. Whether you have a severe toothache or a broken front tooth, we’re here to provide fast pain relief as quickly as possible. Our practice offers care for all dental emergencies. Some of the most common scenarios we see in our office include
- Broken dentures
- Gum inflammation
- Abscessed teeth
- Chipped teeth
- Dislodged crowns and fillings
Our ultimate goal is to see you as quickly as possible to get you out of pain. We ask that you contact us immediately to arrange an appointment; we will work you in as soon as we can.
When you arrive, we’ll take the necessary steps to get you out of pain quickly and find a way to manage your tooth discomfort. In some cases that means initiating treatment or prescribing medication. In others, it might be removing your tooth and planning a way to replace it. Your care is tailored to your specific needs.
Before you can get to our office for an appointment there are some safe ways to make tooth discomfort more tolerable. Rinsing with a lukewarm saltwater solution will naturally ease swelling and mild oral discomfort. In addition, we recommend taking an anti-inflammatory such as ibuprofen as directed. A cold compress can also be helpful.
